This select series of sketches and sketchbook spreads cover architectural and urban explorations from a graduate semester spent in Rome, Italy in the summer of 2009 with weekend trips taken around the countryside, including the Amalfi Coast and Umbria.
Some of the work shown here was completed for a sketching/watercoloring course, which was taught alongside urban design studio and a architectural history course.
Sketches of the Pantheon complimented a Piazza study project that included studies Piazza della Rotunda and Piazza Costaguti in the old Jewish Ghetto.
